  • Assists with the developmentof the strategies and initiatives to enhance the successfuldelivery of projects or specified components, both in terms ofdesign and construction.
  • Assisting inestablishing best practice procedures on cost management within theProject Management Department. Including delivery of initiatives onBenchmarking, Risk management. Assist with the auditing of projectsensuring the processes and procedures adopted byprojects.
  • Responsible for Cost Management ofthe respective project(s) with respect to Cost Planning, costreporting, change management and Contract Close out in liaison withthe Delivery Team.
  • Form and support the ProjectDirector to engender a cohesive project team. Both internally andexternal to MAF properties liaising with other departmentsparticularly Finance and DevelopmentManagement.
  • Procurement
  • Assistwith the procurement of all services as per the approved processesand procedures manual
  • Manage the procurement ofConsultant and Contract services
  • Manage thecompilation of the commercial assessment of all tender submissions(either internally or using a ThirdParty)
  • Manage the compilation of the ContractDocument, and execution with the respective Contractualparties.
  • Cost Planning, Estimating andReporting
  • Assist with the management of ThirdParty cost consultants for the provision of cost plans, estimatesand reports.
  • Issue a monthly commercial reporton project(s) following project finance meetings incorporating anup to date cashflow and analysis of costs to date and projectedfinal account figures
  • Contract Administrationand Close Out (internally or using a ThirdParty)
  • Assist with the contract administration,of construction and contracts and consultant appointments includingthe payment process thereof.
