Roles and responsibilities

Skills: Java, J-Scripting, AJAX, UNIXKnowledge, BPM Workflow, CSS, XML, HTML, OracleSQL

Ø Experience in Processmodelling and development/implementation using IBM BPM BAW,Knowledge of Advanced Encryption Standards(AES)

Ø Hands on experience on ITproduction support and should be well versed with ITIL ITOperations framework for incident, problem and changemanagement.

Ø Proficient inApplication support and providing solutions to meet therequirements and design Proof of Concept (POC). Experience indefining the best practices and implementing right through thedevelopment stages.

Ø Experience inintegrating IBM BPM with databases, web services, LDAP, SMTP andother integration services, database integration, serviceintegration.

Ø Experience ininstallation and troubleshooting IBM BPM application. Hands-on inIBM WODM and IBM FileNet.

ØExperience in Integration with External systems like CRM and Corebanking systems involving middleware for secure transactions. E.g.,Integration with Open APIs, Microservices, FINACLE, TIBCOetc.

Ø Should be able to managecomplete BPM Application involving Process Flows /Handling ChangeRequests and Supporting the Critical Issues involving Productionenvironment in IBM BPM.

ØExperience on performing the DR /PR Drill and OS patching on BPMinfrastructure server. Process modeling anddevelopment/implementation usingIBM.

Ø Performs optimization, andautomation activities to support the implementation of aproduct/application.

Ø Must beextremely responsive, able to work under pressure in crisis with astrong sense of urgency.

  • ApplicationTuning: Optimize and tune applications to improveperformance, responsiveness, and resourceconsumption.

2.Troubleshooting and IssueResolution

  • TechnicalSupport: Provide second-line or third-line technicalsupport to end-users who encounter issues withapplications.
  • IncidentManagement: Investigate, diagnose, and resolveincidents related to software applications. This can involveanalyzing logs, performing diagnostics, and working withdevelopment teams.
  • Root CauseAnalysis: Identify the root causes of recurringissues and work on solutions to prevent futureproblems.

3. SoftwareDeployment andUpdates

  • Patchand Update Management: Manage the deployment ofsoftware patches, updates, and new releases, ensuring thatapplications are up-to-date andsecure.
  • VersionControl: Ensure that the correct version of theapplication is running in the production environment and handleversion upgrades whennecessary.
  • SystemConfiguration: Assist in configuring and setting upapplications for different environments (development, staging,production).

4.Collaboration with Development and ITTeams

  • Workwith Developers: Collaborate with developers to fixbugs, implement enhancements, or deploy newfeatures.
  • Cross-DepartmentCollaboration: Work with other IT departments (e.g.,network teams, database administrators) to resolve issues that spandifferent technologylayers.
  • Customization andIntegration: Help integrate applications with othersystems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality betweensystems.
