Job Description

Our client, a manufacturing company, is urgently looking for a Cooperative Accountant who will be based in their Dubai operation. For this role, you will be entering, maintaining, approving, and managing monthly daily credit notes & FOC.

Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  1. Making COOP Credit notes on a monthly basis as per approved sales
  2. Checking & Approving monthly FOC based on correct sales & Contracts
  3. Prepare and submit quarterly claims as per the schedule
  4. Approve customer development agreements (CDA) along with its P&L
  5. Doing reconciliation for customers as per requirement
  6. Conduct training for the Sales Departments for the proper implementation of COOP module
  7. Monitor expenses as per COOP Agreement
  8. Ensure adequate expenditure controls are in place and monitor compliance
  9. Provide the Monthly Spending Reports to the channel heads as required
  10. Ensure that Credit Notes and FOCs are screened and approved as per the agreement
  11. Helping team members with any requirements for the coop department
  12. Ensure smooth relationships with the company
  13. Ensure smooth & healthy relationships with Sales & AR team

Job Skills

To be considered, you should have a University degree in finance or accounting with 1-3 years experience in accounting. You should have knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures and be proficient in MS Office and accounting software, especially Oracle ERP system.
