KathleenDurusoy is an international venture capitalistinvestor with a strong network across the United States and theMiddle East and the current Managing Director of Umergence. She isa founding director at Transition Fuel NG Acquisition Corporation aCanadian company focused on acquiring natural gas assets in NorthAmerica where she has facilitated over $100M in investment. As themanaging director of Simply Optimal Investments she helpspostrevenue startups raise between $4M and $20M in funding.Durusoys diverse background spans healthcare logistics commoditiesand Turkish real estate investments. She holds Series 7 and Series63 licenses and has extensive operational and investment experiencein both domestic and Middle Easternmarkets.

Kathleen is seeking a highly articulateand professional Financial SalesRepresentative to generate and qualify leads forinstitutional investors. This role requires anexperienced individual who can confidently engage with financialinstitutions and highnetworth investors setting up calls with ourleadership. The representative will be responsible for outboundprospecting handling receptionists and gatekeepers professionallyand maintaining accurate CRMrecords.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Conductoutbound calls to institutional investors and financial firms with$15M in assets.

  • Engageconfidently with secretaries receptionists and investmentprofessionals to schedule meetings with the Umergencesleadership.

  • IntroduceUmergences investment opportunities professionally andpersuasively.

  • Develop andrefine outreach scripts ensuring a highly professional and officialtone.

  • Maintain accuraterecords in CRM tracking engagement andfollowups.

  • Navigate multipletime zones prioritizing outreach to the MENA region (10 am 6 pm AbuDhabitime).

Qualifications&Skills:
  • 3years of experience in sales preferably financialsales or institutionaloutreach.

  • Excellentcommunication skills in English both written andverbal.

  • Strongcold calling outreach and communication skills witha professional and articulate speakingstyle.

  • Confidencein speaking with highlevel financial professionalsand institutionalinvestors.

  • Aselfstarter who can take initiative workindependently and hold themselves accountable to meeting goalswithout requiring constantoversight.

  • Comfortabletesting different sales techniques to identify themost effective approaches.

  • Ability toquickly learn and adapt to new tools andtechnologies ensuring streamlined outreach effortsand efficient leadmanagement.

  • Background infinance private equity or alternative investments is preferred butnot required.

  • Arabic orFarsi language skills are aplus.

Workinghours:

This is a fulltime remoteposition youll need to navigate multiple time zones prioritizingoutreach to the MENA region for example 10 am 6 pm Abu Dhabi time(check the time difference via thelink).
