AtkinsRalis is seeking anexperienced Information Manager with expertise in site supervisionto oversee and manage the project information systems for alargescale Building project in the UAE. The successful candidatewill ensure that all project information is accurately capturedprocessed and shared across stakeholders with a particular focus onthe site supervision aspects. This role requires deep knowledge ofLOD 400 and 500 standards and must be filled by a candidate who isfluent in Arabic as communication with local teams and stakeholdersiskey.

Responsibilities:

InformationManagement:

  • Develop andmanage systems to collect store and distribute all projectinformation in alignment with project goals timelines andregulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the accuracyand completeness of all information shared across teams includingconstruction design and client teams.
  • Implementand manage tools for document control BIM integration and site datamanagement to ensure smooth projectexecution.
  • Manage LOD 400 and 500 (Level ofDevelopment) BIM models to ensure the information is accurateupdated and shared effectively across relevant projectteams.

SiteSupervision:

  • Ensurethat sitebased project information is accurately captured monitoredand reported ensuring the smooth flow of information between thesite and the project office.
  • Coordinate withthe site supervision team to collect data regarding ongoing worksincluding progress reports construction schedules and technicalissues.
  • Monitor the timely submission of sitereports inspection logs and construction progressrecords.
  • Contractors BIM experience isadvantageous with an understanding of driving BIM project fromdesign construction to handoverstage.

Coordination andLiaison:

  • Work closelywith project managers engineers architects contractors and clientsto ensure seamless communication and dataflow.
  • Act as the central point of contact forall information managementrelated queries from the site supervisionteam.
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions oninformation management and issue resolution with internal teams andexternalstakeholders.

QualityControl:

  • Ensure thatall site information and documentation meet the required qualitystandards and comply with projectspecifications.
  • Conduct regular audits ofproject information to ensure that the correct data is being sharedand utilized by the relevant parties.
  • Addressand resolve any discrepancies or inconsistencies in the projectsinformation especially as it relates to site activities andconstructiondrawings.

Reporting andDocumentation:

  • Prepareand deliver regular reports on the status of project informationincluding updates on LOD 400/500 models document control and anydatarelated issues onsite.
  • Maintain anorganized archive of site data and project documents for easyretrieval and compliance audits.
  • Providefeedback and recommendations for improving information managementpractices on theproject.

Site DataManagement: Ensureaccurate and uptodate project data is available for the site teamand otherstakeholders.

CollaborativeCommunication: Supportand facilitate communication across all teams involved in theproject from construction to design to projectmanagement.

Training andSupport: Train sitepersonnel on information management tools procedures and standardsincluding LOD 400/500 specifications and document controlprotocols.

RiskManagement: Identifypotential risks related to information flow or document managementand proposesolutions.

Compliance:Ensure compliance with industry standards local regulations andcompany policies concerning information management and dataprivacy.

Knowledge Skills andExperience:

Knowledge:

BIMand LOD Standards:Thorough understanding of LOD 400/500 models and their applicationin construction and site supervision. Ability to work with andmanage detailed BIM models in collaboration with design andconstructionteams.

InformationManagement: Indepthknowledge of document control data management and projectcollaboration tools (e.g. Procore Aconex ACCAsite).

SiteSupervision: Experiencewith onsite construction management and supervision of Building& Infrastructure projects ensuring timely and accuratereporting.

ConstructionPractices: Familiaritywith construction drawings project scheduling and engineeringspecifications in the context of largescale Buildingprojects.

Skills:

ArabicFluency: Proficient inArabic (spoken and written) with the ability to communicateeffectively with local teams contractors andclients.

ProblemSolving:Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues andprovide effective solutions related to information management andsitecoordination.

Collaboration:Ability to work in a teamoriented environment collaborating withengineers contractors and projectmanagers.

Attention toDetail: Strong focus onensuring accuracy in data management and site reports minimizingerrors.

TechnologyProficiency:Proficiency in software tools related to information management andconstruction project management (e.g. MS Project BIM toolsAconex).

Experience:

  • Minimum7 years of experience in information management and sitesupervision preferably in largescale Building and infrastructureprojects.
  • Significant experience with LOD400/500 BIM standards including managing detailed models for largeconstruction projects.
  • Experience in the UAE orGCC region is highly desirable with knowledge of local standardsregulations and constructionpractices.
  • Previous involvement in theconstruction and management of building projects is a strongadvantage.
  • Must have extensive understanding of4D & 5D deliverables and relatedprotocols.
  • Drives the strategic planning andmanagement of BIM functions included but not limited managing theproduction of Asset Information Model (AIM) with the relatedO&M data byusing
  • COBie.
  • Must be fluentinArabic

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree in architecture Mechanical or Civil Engineering ConstructionManagement
  • Information Management or a relateddiscipline.
  • Certification in BIM (e.g. RevitNavisworks) or Project Management (e.g. PMP) is anadvantage.
  • Proficiency in English is requiredfor communication with international teams andclients.
