Job Description:

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to lead and drive enterprise-level cloud architecture initiatives with a focus on Azure cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong strategic thinking to design and implement secure, scalable, and compliant cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect cloud-native and hybrid solutions leveraging Azure services while ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Lead workload assessment initiatives to evaluate existing applications and infrastructure for cloud migration readiness.
  • Develop comprehensive migration strategies and execution plans for complex workload transitions to Azure.
  • Create detailed High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation for cloud solutions and infrastructure components.
  • Design and implement identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Active Directory.
  • Architect secure connectivity solutions including hybrid networking, VPN, Express Route, and network security.
  • Design and optimize database architectures across various platforms (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, etc.).
  • Establish and maintain cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, SOC, GDPR, etc.).

Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years focused on cloud technologies.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture patterns.
  • Strong understanding of identity management solutions, specifically Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level network and connectivity solutions.
  • Proven track record of successful large-scale cloud migration projects.
  • Expert knowledge of database technologies and data architecture principles.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks and security standards.
  • Strong documentation skills with experience creating architecture artifacts and technical specifications.

Technical Skills:

  • Cloud Security and Compliance
  • Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory
  • Networking (VNet, Express Route, Azure VPN, Network Security Groups)
  • Infrastructure as Code (ARM Templates, Terraform)
  • Cloud Migration Tools and Methodologies
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
  • Experience with multi-cloud architectures.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Background in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
