  • Develop and maintain transportationmodels using advanced software tools

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinaryteams to integrate transportation plans with broader urbandevelopment initiatives
  • Analyze trafficpatterns and propose solutions to improve mobility and reducecongestion
  • Evaluate the impact of proposeddevelopments on local and regional transportationsystems
  • Develop sustainable transportationstrategies that align with environmentalgoals

Qualifications

  • Master'sdegree in Transportation Planning, Civil Engineering, or a closelyrelated field
  • 5+ years of experience intransportation planning, with a proven track record of successfulprojects
  • Working knowledge and experience ofAbu Dhabi Strategic Transportation Evaluation and Assessment Model(STEAM).
  • In-depth knowledge of transportationplanning principles, practices, and emergingtrends
  • Proficiency in transportation modelingsoftware such as VISSIM, Aimsun, orTransCAD
  • Strong skills in GIS software and dataanalysis tools
  • Excellent project managementabilities, including budget control and resourceallocation
  • Comprehensive understanding ofsustainable transportation solutions and their practicalapplications
  • Thorough knowledge of local andregional transportation policies and regulations in theUAE
  • Professional certification such asProfessional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) or ProfessionalTransportation Planner (PTP) ispreferred
  • Outstanding written and verbalcommunication skills, with the ability to present complexinformation to diverse audiences
