JOB PURPOSE:

  • The role holder isresponsible for ensuring that client on boarding to FAB books(Bancassurance) are of good quality and are in compliance with theUAE Central Bank and Banks Policies and Procedures.  Therole leads a team in ensuring that the customer details arecaptured in a professional accurate and meaningful manner to therelevant system.
  • In line with set KPI andperformance objective maintain 100% accuracy and errorfreework.

  • Followall relevant departmental policies processes standard operatingprocedures and instructions so that work is carried out in acontrolled and consistentmanner.
  • Demonstratecompliance to organisations values and ethics at all times tosupport the establishment of a value drive culture within thebank.

ContinuousImprovement

  • Contributeto the identification of opportunities for continuous improvementand sustainability of systems processes and practices consideringglobal standards productivity improvement and costreduction.

Reporting

Assistin the preparation of timely and accurate statements and reports tomeet department requirements policies and qualitystandards.

SERVICE

  • Acceptingand processing of all provider documentations pertaining to Bancassurance Ops.
  • Suitability checking Checking ofall the Banc assurance provider applications for the completion andaccuracy as per the risk & compliancechecklist.
  • Despatching all the providerdocuments to the provider on a dailybasis.
  • Setting up of Standing Instructions fordebit of the premiums in BA System.
  • Reportingof the collected premiums to the Service Providers on a regularbasis.
  • Processing of Adhoc Debit instructionsfrom customers for failed premiums.
  • Securing offunds for the Banca logged in cases if applicable and initiatingtransfer of the funds to the respectiveproviders.
  • Updating any changes in the StandingInstructions as per the customers or providersrequest.
  • Cancellation of the Standinginstructions as per the customers RMs or compliance request andintimation of the same to theprovider.
  • Processing of Staff Free premium asper the policy (campaign time).
  • Funds transferto Nostro A/Cs/CB Accounts and provider accounts via TBO &follow up.
  • Processing of reversal of funds dueto cancellation and coordinating with the relevant team forprocessing the same.
  • POS manual debits forSI/Adhoc and reconciliation against NI report and transferring ofthe same to respective insuranceproviders.
  • Processing of ReinstatementDecrement and TopUp.
  • Processing of Not Taken up(NTU) and cancelled from effective date cases and intimating thesame to the provider.
  • Checking and action onBanca helpdesk emails and forwarding the same the concernedsales/providers/Banca ops/servicing unit and interdepts.
  • Banca Helpdesk for query managementrelated to Banca Ops.
  • Account Reconciliation ofinternal insurance providers subscription/suspense account andinsurance providers FAB accounts.
  • Checking ofthe Standing Instruction Schedules for premiumcollection.
  • Follow up & coordinationwith sales Support/Retention Team for any pending documentspertaining to the Banca applications and maintenancedocuments.
  • Generate Call BackReports.
    • To format CallBack Scripts for different products and to obtain approval prior tointroducing a new script.
    • Call Back Check willinvolve calling the customer and checking that the customerunderstands the basic features of the product purchased and also heunderstands the risks associated with theproduct.
    • Call back for verification of policydocument delivery.
    • Coordinate with RM toactivate the Inactive accounts in case of live policies attached tothe account.
    • Coordinate with RM for closure ofDormant Account in case if there is no live policy attached to theaccount.
    • Proofing for RMU and KRI on monthlybasis (Banca)
    • Processing General Insurancepolicy issuance and renewals.
    • ProcessingGeneral Insurance policy cancellations andreversals.
    • Policy EndorsementOTC
    • Processing Monthly Banca bookings for OTCand SIP.
    • Banca commission Reconciliation forSIP and OTC.
    • Accounts/ Transactionsreconciliation SIP and OTC
    • Ensure adequatetraining is provided to all sales & sales support staff andimprove the quality of documentation.
    • Any otherduties designated by the DepartmentSupervisor/Manager.
    • Prepare scenarios and UATtest cases for all system improvements on BASystem.
    • Provides inputs in the preparation oftimely and accurate subdepartmental statements and reports to meetFABs and departmental requirements policies andstandards.

RISK

  • Ensure escalation ofany identified risk and suggest and implement mitigating actionsand controls to safeguard the Bank.
  • Ensuretimely and effective communication is maintained with internalcustomers taking utmost care in protecting the reputation of thebank.
  • Identify risk and nature of issues andinquiries arising repeatedly. Ensure to escalate these identifiedrisks to the Supervisor / Line Manager / Department Head within theUnit and be a part of the team designing the mitigatingfactors

PEOPLE

  • Reviewperiodically the staff job functions and ensure that all staffwithin the unit is fully aware of all the process which wouldfacilitate job rotation.
  • Maintainprofessionalism and effective communication with colleagues withinthe Unit and all otherDepartments 
  • Adhere to your individualduties and responsibilities and support the team to deliver serviceexcellence
  • Ensure all staff are able to deliverthe tasks assigned including on the job technical & softskill training anddevelopment

 BUSINESS EFFICIENCY

  • Manage the work flowsefficiently with the resources available without compromising onthe risk and services. Provide improvement suggestions to enhancethe quality and efficiency in our work resulting in best customerservice.
  • Maintain highly efficient turnaroundtime.

Qualifications:

  • BachelorDegree Preferable in Commerce Banking Finance orEconomic.
  • 12 yearsrelevant experience in the Bankingsector.
