ITPMedia Group is looking for an ambitious Events Executive tocontribute to the execution of its annual stable of industry andconsumer events. The ideal candidate will have experience workingon experiential marketing activations be highly organised and keento grow in the events sector. You will have a strong understandingof the elements needed to execute events such as conferences andgala dinners to a high level have a keen eye for detail and excitedby the idea of new formats and future trends in the eventsindustry.



Requirements

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES


TheEvents executive will primarily be responsible for but not limitedto thefollowing:

  • Workwith the division s Event Manager editorial and commercial leads toplan both brand and clientledevents.
  • Handling a variety of undertakingsincluding:
  • Managingclients andsponsors
  • Managingsuppliers and venuecontacts
  • Overseeingticket / tablesales
  • Liaisingwith the editorial and commercial teams on assets andbranding
  • Supportand contribute to the innovation of our events portfolio havingyour finger on the pulse and being quick to identify new trends inthe event industry and how they translate to ourbrands
  • Supportthe endtoend management of events across a broad spectrum of scalesfrom industryfacing gala dinners seating 1000 people to intimatepopup live music nights for a consumeraudience.
  • Supportthe editorial and commercial teams by drawing up media partnershipsfor brands as agreed with the editorial and commercialleads.
  • Ensureevents are delivered to a high standard and in accordance with thedepartment s brand guidelines goals andobjectives
TechnicalCompetencies
  • Bachelors Degree in event management or 4 years equivalent work experiencein a relatedfield
  • Atleast 4 years of industry relatedexperience

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previousexperience working on consumer or B2B events at largescale

Knowledge and Proficiency: Proficient in creating new opportunityand sale presentations as directed by the General Manager -assisting in path planning, project management, client relations,budgeting, reporting, and general administration. Skilled insourcing and synthesising information from diverse sources.Proficient in managing partnership packages to ensure delivery ofpromised print, digital, and social outputs. Knowledge of allintegral systems Trello, Zoho, Google Drive, Magnet (trainingprovided) Knowledge of the internal order approval system, keycontacts, and paperwork requirements (training provided) Managementof the internal month-end closing process across the groupProficient in creating post campaign reports and analysis for keyaccounts within the group. Management Responsibilities: Managementof order workflow across commercial and editorial team - managingeditorial and commercial operations across digital, print, andexperiential businesses, overseeing resource allocation to achievetargets. Management of Trello across commercial and editorial team- supporting commercial and PR content requests, trackingdeliverables, and ensuring editorial commitments are met.Opportunity to represent the brands at key industry events. Projectand Account Management: Assist in managing wider teams' projectsand accounts throughout their leave periods as needed - acting as aprimary liaison across departments, addressing queries,troubleshooting issues, and escalating matters as needed.Establishing, implementing, and supporting the brands eventscalendar, working and follow-up files for the teams. Assist theteams pre, during, and post-events (guest management, logistics,operations, communication, information, and material management).Supporting the delivery and attending brand events across the groupwhere needed. Media Planning and Relationship Management:Independently conduct media planning based on client briefs andfoster relationships to drive comprehensive annual planning whilstidentifying commercial opportunities for optimal brand investment.Requirements: Own valid visa Immediate, full-time availability fora 6-month contract period Transport to the office and events
