The Lead/Senior Project Manager will act asthe key day to day client interface ensuring that client objectivesare met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targetsand the appropriate quality sustainability and safetystandards.

Ideally you will have strong new buildand or refurb / extension / upgrades or enhancements projectexperience within the Industrial / food processing / high techsectors of construction. 

We are lookingfor an enthusiastic selfmotivated individual who has excellentwritten and verbal communication skills and who wants to make adifference to the Project Managementdivision.

Key Attributes andDuties:

You will show excellentmanagement and interpersonal skills and possess a very strong coretechnical skillset an understanding of construction and commercialand contractual awareness.

As a smart andenthusiastic Lead/Senior Project Manager you will understand thecomplexities of a large scale building and infrastructureprojects.

Your strong interpersonal skills andexceptional relationship management experience will enable you toeffectively liaise with a diverse range of clients subcontractorsand key stakeholders. You are immaculately presented and possess aperceptive knowledge of the end to end project delivery lifecycleinclusive of design procurement permitting construction andhandover processes.

Your proven success indelivering building projects will allow you to execute thefollowing key responsibilities as Lead/Senior ProjectManager:

  • Develop and manage a suite ofgovernance communication and management control systems for theproper conduct and assured delivery of the clients essentialservices and works.
  • Review the organisationstructures of the parties and recommend alignmentmeasures.
  • Monitor overall team performance andinitiate any required safety or performance improvement measuresand methodologies.
  • Monitor and audit compliancewith the requirements of the management systems and report asrequired.
  • Continually identify any projectrisks actively assign and manage mitigations asappropriate.
  • Initiate and conduct weeklytechnical and progress meetings relating to the services andworks.
  • Manage any client stage gateway reviewsand attainment of conditions precedent to suchapprovals.
  • Manage the attainment of designstage deliverables to schedule and quality that may be concurrentwith any fast track works package procurements and associatedpermitting and approvals requirements.
  • Attendthe site(s) as often as required to review HSSE logistics andprogress against the programme.
  • Produce formalreports on project progress measured against the baseline andmilestone dates and agreed projectwideKPIs.
  • Prepare weekly monthly and adhoc reportson project progress for the Employers representative prepare andconduct presentations as required.
  • Manage andadminister the relevant contracts affording appropriate protectionof the clients interests.
  • Manage the timelyissuance of company invoices and receipts against the agreedcontract.

Qualifications:

Essential

  • Degreein engineering construction management or an equivalenttechnical qualification
  • Recent experience infood processing or industrial typeprojects.

Desirable

  • RecognizedProject ManagementQualification                                              
  • Membershipor chartership of a recognized professional industry body such asRICS/CIOB
  • Ideally you will have experience ofworking in the MiddleEast
