Responsibilities:

  • Readingand understanding the package contract documents detailed drawingsspecifications and health and safety measures together with anyassociated updates.
  • Ensuring the Contractor(s)are complying with the standards and specifications of the contractdocuments through observation measurements and testing as well astracking quality assuranceprogress.
  • Maintaining records of theContractors manpower and equipment dailyresources.
  • Undertaking all site supervision andinspections when required or instructed by the Resident Engineer(RE) or the Assistant Resident Engineer(ARE).
  • Documenting in the areas assigned to theInspector the Contractors personnel and equipment activitiesobserved location of activities reason for activities and means andmethods utilized.
  • Additionally report onmaterials delivery and following and implementing any siteinstructions made by the leader. Apply and implement all qualitycontrols and quality procedures of thesite.
  • Follow up and implement any siteinstructions made by the leader.
  • Apply andimplement all quality controls and quality procedures of thesite.
  • Prepare any site measurements andsurveying checks needed by theleader
  • Monitoring conformance to qualityperformance and/or code requirements by performing inspectionduties.
  • Monitor Health and Safety of theconstruction works and report onviolations

Qualifications:

  • Goodknowledge in basic design requirements familiar with Mechanicalmethodologies and installation processes and procedures. Knowledgeof the Building Codes.
  • Experience inSite Operations is amust.
  • Effective oral and writtencommunication skills.
  • Competent at writingreports can present views clearly and concisely in good writtenEnglish.
  • Detailed knowledge of constructiontechniques.

Qualifications

  • Experiencein Mechanical related type projectsrequired.
  • Candidates must have experience inConstruction Supervision with a Consultancy with a minimum of 8years of overall experience (minimum 5 years in theMEA)
  • For the Inspector position a Bachelordegree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering isrequired.
