Join Our Team as a Senior Compliance Officer – Quality Assurance Compliance

Are you passionate about ensuring compliance and enhancing quality assurance within the financial sector? We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team and make a significant impact.

What You'll Do

  • Implement the AML/CFT framework to identify potential weaknesses and deficiencies in existing AML policies, processes, data, and controls.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance testing on the bank’s day-to-day Compliance activities.
  • Share updates with management on identified issues and provide timely feedback on the quality of business processes and controls.
  • Assist in identifying and escalating problem areas and risks associated with processes, making recommendations to improve the quality of work.
  • Provide support in coordinating a holistic approach to the AML/CTF/Sanctions second line of defense.
  • Support the preparation of structured management information for reporting purposes.
  • Track ineffective controls and related risk assessments of conformance testing results to ensure controls are operating effectively.
  • Perform Quality Assurance on Compliance Activities within Compliance and the 1st Line of Defense (e.g., Assurance on Low/Medium Risk clients).
  • Publish reports on a periodic basis.
  • Ensure “lessons learnt” feedback into the process, trainings, policies, and procedures.
  • Track, follow up, and support the first line for closure of identified control gaps.
  • Maintain the Risk-register.

  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree or related field.
  • Minimum Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on compliance.
  • Preferred to have experience in AML & KYC in previous roles.
  • Preferred to have English & Computer literacy related Certificates.
