- Experience: 10+ years of experiencein network operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial orleadership role within a NOC.
- Technical Skills:Extensive knowledge of networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS,DHCP, etc.), and experience with network devices (routers,switches, firewalls).
- Monitoring Tools:Proficiency with advanced network monitoring and management tools(e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix) and incident management systems(e.g., ServiceNow).
- Leadership: Proven trackrecord of successfully leading and managing a NOC team, with strongskills in team development and performancemanagement.
- Certifications: Relevantcertifications such as CCNP, ITIL, or equivalent are highlypreferred.
PreferredQualifications
- Experience with cloud-based networkoperations and monitoring tools (e.g., AWS,Azure).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes andbest practices for incident, problem, and changemanagement.
- Knowledge of AI and automationtools and their application in networkoperations.
1. ServiceManagement
- ServiceLevel Management: Define and manage Service LevelAgreements (SLAs) with customers, ensuring that service deliverymeets the agreed-upon quality, performance, and availabilitymetrics.
- Service ContinuityManagement: Plan and implement measures to ensurethat services continue to operate in case of unexpected disruptionsor failures (e.g., disaster recovery plans, business continuitystrategies).
- IncidentManagement: Ensure that incidents (servicedisruptions) are resolved quickly and effectively, minimizing theimpact on end-users and businessoperations.
- ProblemManagement: Identify the root causes of recurringissues and implement long-term solutions to prevent them fromhappening again.
- ChangeManagement: Oversee the implementation of changes toIT systems, ensuring they are executed smoothly and withoutdisruption to servicedelivery.
- ConfigurationManagement: Maintain accurate records of all ITassets, software, and hardware configurations to help in efficientservice delivery andtroubleshooting.
2.Service DeliveryCoordination
- ProjectCoordination: Oversee the planning, execution, andmonitoring of service delivery projects, ensuring that resources,timelines, and goals aremet.
- VendorManagement: Coordinate with third-party vendors orservice providers to ensure that services are delivered accordingto agreed standards and SLAs. Manage contracts and relationshipswith external partners.
- TeamManagement: Lead teams of service deliveryprofessionals (e.g., service desk staff, technical support teams,field engineers) and ensure they have the resources and supportneeded to performeffectively.
- CustomerRelationship Management: Build and maintain strongrelationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with theservices delivered. Act as the point of escalation for any issuesor concerns.
- QualityAssurance: Ensure that service delivery processes,outputs, and deliverables meet the required quality standards.Regularly review and improve processes to maintain high servicequality.
3. PerformanceMonitoring andReporting
- KPITracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)to assess the performance of service delivery, such as responsetimes, resolution times, customer satisfaction, and serviceavailability.
- Reporting:Create regular reports and dashboards for senior management andcustomers, outlining service performance, incident resolutiontimes, and any potential serviceissues.
- ContinuousImprovement: Use performance data to identify areasfor improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance servicequality and efficiency.

- Ability tolead cross-functional teams, motivate staff, and manage resourceseffectively.
- Experience in managing teamsresponsible for the delivery of services, such as technical supportor service operations teams.
2.Communication and StakeholderManagement
- Excellentcommunication skills to interact with customers, vendors, andinternal stakeholders.
- Ability to handleescalations and sensitive customer interactions withprofessionalism and empathy.
3.ProjectManagement
- Strongproject management skills, including planning, scheduling, andresource allocation.
- Familiarity with projectmanagement methodologies such asAgile,Scrum, orWaterfall.
4.TechnicalKnowledge
- Understandingof IT service management frameworks likeITIL (Information TechnologyInfrastructure Library) and DevOpsprinciples.
- Familiarity with common IT toolsand systems used in service delivery, such asServiceNow,JIRA,Zendesk, and BMCRemedy.
5.Problem-Solving and CriticalThinking
- Stronganalytical and troubleshooting skills to address service issues andresolve incidents quickly.
- Ability to assesscomplex situations, identify root causes, and implement effectivesolutions.
6.Customer-CentricMindset
- A focus oncustomer satisfaction and the ability to build strong relationshipswith clients.
- Understanding of customer needsand ensuring that service delivery aligns with theirexpectations.
