Aboutthe Role:

We are seekingan experienced and passionate Baker to join awellestablished bakery or retail company. The successful candidatewill be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breadpastries cakes and other baked goods while maintaining highqualitystandards. The ideal candidate will have excellent baking skills akeen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in afastpaced environment.

KeyResponsibilities:

1.Baking andProduction:

  • Prepareand bake a variety of bread pastries cakes cookies and other bakeditems as per the recipes andstandards.
  • Follow detailed recipesand ensure consistency in the quality of all bakedgoods.
  • Monitor ovens and bakingequipment to ensure proper temperatures and bakingtimes.

2.Ingredient Management andInventory:

  • Measureand mix ingredients accurately according to therecipes.
  • Ensure proper storage ofingredients to maintain freshness and avoidspoilage.
  • Assist in managinginventory and reorder ingredients whennecessary.

3.QualityControl:

  • Ensureall baked goods meet the company s quality standards in terms ofappearance texture andtaste.
  • Inspect the bakeryenvironment for cleanliness and ensure that all equipment ismaintained in goodcondition.
  • Conduct quality controlchecks to ensure consistency and uniformity in allproducts.

4.CustomerService:

  • Assistin customer orders when needed offering advice on baked goods andcustom orders.
  • Ensure a cleanfriendly and welcoming environment in thebakery.

5.Cleanliness andHygiene:

  • Maintaina clean and organized workstation adhering to health and safetystandards.
  • Ensure proper sanitationof all equipment tools and work areas to meet local food safetyregulations.

6.EquipmentMaintenance:

  • Operateand maintain baking equipment such as ovens mixers and doughmachines.
  • Conduct regular checks andbasic maintenance on equipment to ensure smoothoperations.
Requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum23 years of experience working as aBaker in a bakery caf or similarenvironment.
  • Strong knowledge ofbaking techniques bread and pastry preparation and cakedecoration.
  • Experience in baking awide range of products including bread cakes cookies pastriesetc.

Skills:

  • Excellentbaking and decorating skillswith a good eye for detail.
  • Strongunderstanding of food safety and hygienestandards.
  • Ability to follow recipesaccurately and produce consistentresults.
  • Good time management skillsand ability to work in a fastpacedenvironment.

Qualifications:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent; formal training inbaking or culinary arts ispreferred.

PhysicalRequirements:

  • Abilityto work on your feet for extendedperiods.
  • Ability to lift heavy bagsof flour and other ingredients asneeded.
