  • AConcierge is a hospitalityprofessional responsible for providing personalized services toguests, ensuring a high level of satisfaction during their stay ata hotel, resort, or other luxury establishments. Concierges act asthe go-to person for guests' requests, from arrangingtransportation to recommending activities and securingreservations. The role requires extensive knowledge of the localarea, excellent communication skills, and the ability to solveproblems efficiently.

    1.Guest Service and RelationshipBuilding

  • PersonalizedAssistance: Offering tailored services to guestsbased on their preferences, ensuring a memorable and uniqueexperience during theirstay.
  • GuestInteraction: Engaging with guests in a professional,friendly, and approachable manner to meet their needs, answerquestions, and provideassistance.
  • ProblemSolving: Handling guest requests, issues, orcomplaints effectively, finding solutions to ensuresatisfaction.

  • 2. LocalKnowledge

  • Knowledgeof Attractions: Having in-depth knowledge of localattractions, restaurants, museums, shopping centers, events, andentertainment options to provide recommendations toguests.
  • TransportOptions: Understanding transportation systems(taxis, trains, buses, etc.), arranging airport transfers, privatedrivers, and car rentals forguests.
  • InsiderTips: Providing guests with insider knowledge ofhidden gems, exclusive venues, or unique experiences not typicallyfound in guidebooks.

  • 3.ReservationManagement

  • BookingDining Reservations: Securing restaurantreservations, securing spots at exclusive or hard-to-book venues,and recommending dining options based on guests'preferences.
  • Making TravelArrangements: Assisting guests with booking flights,arranging transportation, and making hotel or tourreservations.
  • Event and ActivityReservations: Coordinating bookings for events,activities, entertainment, or spa services, ensuring they alignwith the guest's interests andschedule.

  • 4. HandlingSpecialRequests

  • Celebrationsand Special Occasions: Assisting guests witharrangements for special occasions such as birthdays,anniversaries, or romantic surprises, including flower deliveries,champagne, or customitineraries.
  • PersonalRequests: Helping with various personal needs, fromproviding extra amenities (e.g., pillows, towels) to locatinghard-to-find items (e.g., baby supplies, specificmedications).
  • UniqueExperiences: Organizing personalized experiencessuch as private tours, yacht charters, VIP tickets to events, ortickets to cultural experiences.

  • 5.Managing GuestCommunication

  • InformationProvider: Answering guest inquiries via phone,email, or in person, and offering accurate and timely informationabout the hotel's services, amenities, and the surroundingarea.
  • Coordinating with OtherDepartments: Communicating guests' needs tothe appropriate hotel departments (housekeeping, maintenance,dining, etc.) to ensure requests are metpromptly.
  • Follow-Up:Checking in with guests to ensure their requests have beenfulfilled and to gather feedback about theirexperience.

  • 6. GuestTransportation andLogistics

  • ArrangingTransportation: Organizing airport transfers, taxis,private vehicles, or shuttles for guests as per their preferencesand ensuring timelyservice.
  • Navigating theCity: Providing guests with directions, maps, andtransportation options, including advising on local transport,sightseeing tours, or scenicdrives.
  • Coordinating Pick-Ups andDrop-Offs: Ensuring smooth coordination fortransportation to and from events, excursions, ormeetings.

  • 7. Ticketingand EventCoordination

  • BookingTickets for Events: Securing tickets for concerts,theater performances, sports games, or local events, ensuring thebest seating andavailability.
  • Special EventArrangements: Assisting with arrangements for groupevents, private parties, or meetings, including recommendingvenues, coordinating services, and providing logisticalsupport.
  • VIPServices: Providing VIP access or priority ticketsfor guests attending high-demand events or popular touristattractions.
Desired candidate profile
  • Provide upscale guest service experiences toguests throughout their stay.
  • Proactively workand engage 3rd party vendors included but not limited to:Transportation, Valet parking and car rentalcompanies.
  • Recommend local tourist spots,including places to dine, shop andsight-see.
  • Monitors standards of service andresponse to our overall product, through observations and Medalliaguest comments, and recommends short- and long-term changes throughregular feedback, daily reports andproposals.
  • Utilizes a variety of computersystems within all Front Office departments.

What YouBring

  • At least 2 years'experience in a similar role within 5* LuxuryHotels.
  • Strong communication and customerservice skills.
  • Previous expereince working infast pace inveronment.
  • Excellent knowledge ofDubai attractions and restaurants.
  • Candidatewith The Golden Keys will have an advantage.
