  • Safety Protocols Monitoring andreport on adherence to safety protocols for all marine constructionoperations. Participate in the development of job safety practicesand in the preparation of safetyreports.
  • Conduct detailed inspections of marinestructures, dredging sites, and reclamation areas to assessconditions and identify any potentialissues.
  • Witness and verify quality testing todetermine if work has been done in accordance with contractspecifications.
  • Review and comment oncontractor shop drawings, method statements, inspection and testplans.
  • Coordination Coordinate with projectmanagers, engineers, and other stakeholders to verify constructionoperations align with overall project timelines andobjectives.
  • Problem-Solving Identify andsuggest solutions to technical issues that arise duringconstruction in coordination with the Assistant ResidentEngineer/Resident Engineer.
  • Reporting Preparedetailed inspection and progress reports that include findings,recommendations, and any incidents or deviations from theplan.
  • Environmental Monitoring Monitor anddocument environmental impacts of the marine constructionactivities. Check compliance with environmental regulations andbest practices.
  • Perform other responsibilitiesassociated with this position as may beappropriate.

Here's what you'llneed

  • Bachelors Degree orDiploma in Civil Engineering or MarineEngineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience inconstruction supervision of Marine and Infrastructureprojects.
  • Good physical condition forfieldwork, including working on boats and in various weatherconditions.
  • Approvals from local authorities isan advantage.
  • Ability to clearly communicate inEnglish
