The Quality Officer is responsiblefor the efficient and effective coordination and implementation ofquality management systems and EHS/OSH related improvementactivities.

KeyResponsibilities

QualityImprovement:

  • Plan, implement, and coordinatecontinuous quality improvementinitiatives.
  • Measure and monitor outcomes todrive improvements.

TeamCollaboration

  • Maintain productive workingrelationships with team members.
  • Act as aresource for staff seeking to implement quality improvementactivities.

PatientCare

  • Assistin providing high-quality patient care aimed at improving healthoutcomes.
  • Encourage staff to review and improvework practices.

Education AndCompliance

  • Ensure staff awareness of qualitysystems and internal procedures through educationsessions.
  • Conduct training on fire, evacuation,and disaster procedures.

ClinicalTeaching

  • Participate in clinical teaching andoversee learning experiences for new and less experiencedstaff.

AccreditationStandards

  • Ensure compliance with local andinternational standards and accreditationbodies.
  • Coordinate with departments to meetenvironment of care standards.

StrategicImplementation

  • Apply strategies from theorganization's strategic plan within thedepartment.
  • Manage controlled documentation andasset implementation related to quality and EHSmanagement.

Occupational HealthAnd Safety

  • Actively promote and participate inoccupational health, safety, and welfareprograms.
  • Instruct safety education and developtraining curricula to ensure staff readiness.

Hazardous WasteManagement

  • Oversee the hazardous wastemanagement program in accordance with governmentregulations.

Functional ImprovementMonitoring

  • Monitor and proctor functionalimprovement initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degreeor equivalent preferred with clinicalBackground.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years ofexperience in a clinical setting, with experience in HealthcareAudits and DataValidation
  • Skills:
  • AnUnderstanding of continuous quality improvementplanning
  • Knowledge ofAccreditation
  • Demonstrates strong interactionand communication skills
  • Strong command ofEnglish Language oral and written

  3. MonitoringPerformanceMetrics

    • Tracking keyperformance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality, customersatisfaction, and process efficiency.
    • Usingdata to evaluate quality performance and report findings tomanagement.
  4. ManagingCorrective and Preventive Actions(CAPA)

    • Investigatingnon-conformances, defects, or customer complaints to determine rootcauses.
    • Implementing corrective actions toprevent recurrence and preventive measures to avoid futureissues.
