To minimize abuse of operatingequipment
To ensure that requisitions for supplies arecompleted delivered and accounted for.
To minimize theuse of overtime
To ensure that there is enough operatingequipment at all times.
To record all voids and reportany payment discrepancies to Restaurant Manager.
Tofollow Company procedures when handling cash credit cards andcheques.
To see guests concerning all complaints andreport all complaints to Manager.
To liaise withcolleagues over guests requirements and needs.
To ensurehandover at shift end and beginning.
To liaise with HeadChef on a regular basis.
To liaise with Reception on aregulars basis.
To gain customer feedback at alltimes.
To complete a full report of the days events inthe Management Report Book.
Create and maintain apersonal and respectful rapport with regular guests.
Maintain a high customer profile and handle promptly andcourteously all guest comments questions complaints requests andenquiries taking the necessary action steps and ensuring thoroughfollowthrough.
Familiarize yourself with guests needs andrequirements in order to ensure an efficient and friendlyservice
Fanatical focus on quality and consistency in allareas food and beverage quality guest service cleanlinessetc.
Support all other revenue centers in the hotel suchas Rooms and Events
To be results driven and totallyaccountable.
Attend daily business review meetings weeklystrategic sales meetings management meetings and other meetings asrequired/requested.
Undertake regular inspections toensure that the companys assets are well maintained andprotected.
Ensure that the business is seen as arespected important member of the community by localinfluencers.
Carry out any other duties as are within thescope spirit and purpose of the job asrequested.

Qualifications :

Minimum 2 (two) yearsmanagement experience in Restaurants and Bars.
One to twoyears in a public contact position preferably in an upscale orlifestyle brand hotel
Enter and locate work relatedinformation using computers and/or point of sale systems
Possess a gracious friendly and fun demeanor
Ability tomultitask work in a fast paced environment and have a high levelattention to detail
Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills in English
Maintain positive andproductive working relationships with other employees anddepartments
Ability to work independently and to partnerwith others to promote an environment ofteamwork
