Stem Trainer

Lead a full training course based on Amideast standards, in order to improve learners' skills for Sustainability, Aerospace Engineering, and 3D Printing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and deliver Sustainability, Aerospace Engineering, and 3D Printing curriculum manuals (participants' guide and trainers' guide), handouts, and instructional PowerPoint.
- Actively prepare for class and interact with the students in a positive and upbeat manner. Plan and share supplemental materials needed to enhance courses delivery
- Create a designated instructional plan and schedule for the course.
- Complete and submit administrative tasks, such as course logs, timesheets, class surveys, and attendance in accordance with the course timeline set by the content developer.
- Maintain accurate and up to date attendance records for all classes.
- Correct homework, exams, projects, and any other assignments in accordance with the course timeline.
- Lead classroom instruction and discussion according to the instructors' guide and the participants' guide.
- Assess student progress and achievement through appropriate, varied assessments means; notifying the manager when a student is in jeopardy of not passing a course.
- Keep the manager informed of issues related to students and courses that need to be resolved.
- Organize and archive all material related to the curriculum and final evaluations during the wrapup period of the program.
- Developed curriculum manuals, handouts, and instructional PowerPoint based on the theme provided.
- Class preparation according to the developed curriculum manuals, handouts, and instructional PowerPoint.
- Supplemental material needed to enhance courses delivery.
- Submission of course logs, timesheets, class surveys, and attendance, in accordance with the timeline set by the content developer.
- Correction of homework, exams, projects, and any other assignments in a in accordance with the timeline set by the content developer.
- Written feedback regarding the developed curriculum manuals, handouts, and instructional PowerPoint.
- Organization of all material related to the curriculum and final evaluations during the wrapup period of the program
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics); Master's degree in education or related STEM field preferred.
- 3 years' minimum STEM classroom teaching experience for secondary levels.
- Extensive knowledge of the field of Sustainability, Aerospace Engineering, and 3D Printing.
- Fluent English proficiency.
- Ability to adapt to a new culture and learner needs within a different context.
- Ability and willingness to adapt to a variety of audiences children and adults.
- Detailoriented and strong organizational skills.
- Punctuality and timeliness in record keeping.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to create a productive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
