Job Summary
Zurich Middle East is part of Zurich Insurance Group, a leading global insurer dedicated to helping communities locally and globally manage and mitigate risks. As a member of the Zurich Global Employee Benefits Solutions (ZGEBS) team in the Middle East, you will play a vital role in underwriting and analyzing Group Life & Group Medical Business, ensuring business objectives are met and customer satisfaction is maximized.
Job Accountabilities
As a ZGEBS M.E Underwriter, your responsibilities will include:
- Completing assignments within delegated authority levels
- Providing technical pricing support and guidance to customers and distributors
- Demonstrating expertise in pricing corporate healthcare schemes
- Understanding regional medical insurance benefits and regulatory requirements
- Analyzing benefit changes and proposing enhancements for clients
- Maintaining strong distributor relationships
- Contributing to underwriting standards development
- Supporting the team culture and development
- Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve business goals
- Participating in training activities
Job Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and at least 8 years of relevant experience
- Professional qualifications like AFPC, APMI, IMC
- Experience in healthcare pricing for corporates
- Understanding of customer needs and pension requirements
- Knowledge of compliance regulations and pension objectives
- Effective communication and organizational skills
