A rare and exciting opportunity exists due to the extraordinary vision of the school, to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate and creative Teacher of Horticulture and Sustainability. The successful post holder will help to manage a ground-breaking sustainability programme in the school, which will include aquaponics, hydroponics, horticulture & beekeeping, as part of our Fork to Fork curriculum under our Director of Horticulture and Sustainability..

Helping to develop policy, and deliver CPD & training for staff and pupils.

The successful candidate will also get to work with our chickens and ducks too, and teach exciting lessons to our pupils as well as being busy with drills and hammers creating an exciting and innovative environment.

The school, which was established in 1979, is one of the founding British schools in Al Ain and is held in high regard by the local community for its pioneering education. AAESS is a DfE registered BSO (British Schools Overseas) in Al Ain, and has an inspection rating of Very Good.

The successful applicant will:

· Be an enthusiastic and consistently strong practitioner with a sound knowledge and understanding of Secondary education / Primary education / Nursery education.

· Have experience of teaching the National Curriculum in British Schools;
