Responsibilities

Support operations with a focus on processing/coordinating assets and procurement for the region.

Responsibilities and duties: (not enumerated in any specific sequence)

  • Identify and locate underutilized assets in the region.
  • Monitor stocks of expendable supplies in each regional facility.
  • Transfer surplus expendables from site to site to utilize excess inventory.
  • Establish central points for expendable stock that cater to remote locations using a hub & spoke distribution strategy.
  • Initiate replenishment orders for the central stock with no direct purchases made at remote sites.
  • Collaborate on capital equipment acquisitions and major product procurement agreements with the Houston purchasing and material management unit to optimize the company's procurement scale.
  • Offer necessary assistance to operational/administrative departments including inventory/asset tracking, marketing, accounting, corporate development, regional, and field operations.
  • Support domestic operations by coordinating the transfer of rental, fishing, and other service equipment to enhance utilization and revenue.
  • Serve as the key regional contact for conducting searches in the area for equipment that can be utilized to avoid procurement, subleasing, or transferring equipment to meet project demands.
  • Familiarize with and adhere to Weatherford Quality Policy, complying with all stipulations of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Workplace Instructions.
  • Comprehend and comply with all safety regulations and company policies of Weatherford.
  • Execute work assignments with the utmost attention to quality standards.
  • Undertake various other tasks and assignments as delegated by superiors within the physical confines of the role.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 0-2+ years operational experience in addition to 0-1 years of coordination experience alongside a University degree.
    • Proficiency in Operations and Administration business skills.
    • Familiarity with Weatherford's service equipment and operations.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to apply diplomatic skills in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Capacity to collaborate closely with both internal and external clients.
