JOB SUMMARY
Responsibilities include overseeing Restaurants/Bars and Room Service operations. Manages daily restaurant activities, assists in menu planning, upholds sanitation standards, and supports servers and hosts during peak hours. Aims to enhance guest and employee satisfaction, optimize financial performance, and implement training programs for goal achievement.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related fields.
- 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related majors; 2 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related fields.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Managing Day-to-Day Operations
- Supervises and coordinates employees, ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining service and sanitation standards.
- Reviews staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial goals.
Leading Food and Beverage Team
- Uses interpersonal skills to lead and influence the team, promotes sound business decisions, and fosters trust and cooperation.
- Acts as a role model, identifies team development needs, sets goals, and ensures productivity.
- Provides guidance, vision, and direction to align departmental goals effectively, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service
- Goes above and beyond to satisfy and retain customers, communicates effectively to understand and meet guest needs, and cultivates a positive guest experience.
- Empowers employees to excel in customer service, handles guest issues, collects feedback, and ensures continuous service improvement.
Managing and Conducting Human Resource Activities
