Secondary Design & Technology Teacher

Kings' School Al Barsha is seeking a Secondary Design & Technology teacher to join our rapidly expanding school from August 2024. The department is established as a central part of school life and has quickly gained a reputation for academic excellence, with parents and students alike viewing Design & Technology as a desirable university choice and career pathway.

Supporting pupils as they work towards their GCSE and A Level exams, you will play a vital role in their ever-evolving learning journey. You will be expected to deliver an education that allows each student to excel, explore, and succeed.

Requirements and Experience:

Essential:

Hold a Bachelor's Degree relevant to the teaching Subject or equivalentHold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Strong subject knowledge and sheer enthusiasm for the subject that you are ready to share with our studentsExperience of teaching GCSE and A LevelA minimum of 3 years' experience, though new teachers who are aspiring to be outstanding will be consideredAble to teach consistently inspirational lessons and a track record of delivering outstanding resultsA highly collaborative nature and strong communication skillsEvidence of commitment to recent professional development relevant to this roleIdeas that will help to further the high profile of the department within the schoolICT skills that reflect the impact of technology in today's classroomsA commitment to the extra-curricular programme Commitment to the well-being and pastoral care of all students within their careInnovative, creative and positive mindsetDesirable:Experience of working overseas or with international studentsHow to apply: Candidates are to apply directly through the Kings' WebHR portal.
