Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) is looking for a Product Manager New Fuels – EnergyAs the Product Manager New Fuels - Energy, your primary responsibility will be envisioning and overseeing the creation of innovative product offerings within Propulsion & Performance Solutions.

Your key focus will be to pioneer advancements in the decarbonization sphere, spearheading the development of novel fuels and cutting-edge energy efficiency solutions.

You shall be the point of reference and authority for the portfolio across all geographic areas in terms of product and technical expertise, product development and innovation, technical supplier management, as well as product placement and delivery.

In addition, you will understand how the use of the products creates value for customers.

The role is expected to evolve and develop as the organization moves forward and the effect of the position is seen.


What you will work on:


Interact with original equipment manufacturer (OEMs) for new and existing energy solutions for development of future proof go to market solutions to new challenges.

Work closely with class and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with new and existing regulations, this includes approval processes as well as regulatory cocreation.

Collaborate with key stakeholders and functions to prepare for implementation of new solutions into the line organization.

Monitor the competitive landscape, protect, and build market share, and manage the product brand and price position together with other functions.

Support internal stakeholders on existing business.
Spearhead energy's interaction with customers and industry clusters on ventures / projects for new solutions.

Contribute to the budgeting process and participate in monthly business reviews to optimize the solution potential in collaboration with Technical Operations.

Present and promote products and services at conferences, customer events, and exhibitions to position WSS as a market leader technically and commercially.

Influence and monitor changes in rules and regulations related to decarbonization and new fuels.
Be a role model by having a 'can do' forward-leaning attitude, especially towards cross-functional collaboration.
Utilize technology and digital opportunities to identify market potential and drive improvement in the development of new technology/apps.
Support the development of products, services, and digital solutions that cut across different solutions.
Co-create and interact with suppliers in product development of new solutions.
Support in the development and introduction phase of new solutions related to new fuels in the maritime Energy sector.

What you need to succeed in the role:2+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in the maritime industryExcellent project management skillsGood understanding and interest for emerging technologiesExcellent presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively within a multinational environmentFluent English - both writing and speakingAble to work independently, systematically and meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of prioritiesSelf-driven, outgoing, ambitious, and full of initiativeAbility to change and drive change.

Willingness to travel.
