Responsibilities for this role will encompass the development of VT design concepts and the calculation of the number, size, and speed of lifts for diverse building types.

Additionally, duties will involve preparing design stage reports, drawings, and specifications for VT projects, with attendance at client and design team meetings as necessary.


Your new role, what's involved?

  • Advanced knowledge and experience in utilizing lift traffic design software (Elevate), CAD, BIM, Revit, Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • To produce efficient VT solutions for the client.
  • Responsible to produce technical reports to illustrate the design to the client and his representatives

:

  • Responsible for attending and coordination meetings with the project design team, VT supplier, and specialist subcontractors to ensure that the intended design is appropriately implemented.
  • Liaison and coordination with all applicable Local Authority Departments and stakeholders to obtain approval at all stages of the project.
  • Coordination with other Discipline Engineers (Architectural, Structural, Telecoms, IT, Mechanical and Electrical) as applicable.
  • Participation in design review/clarification meetings and workshops and client presentations.
  • Liaise with VT suppliers to ensure adherence to standards and scope of works required by client.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Degree in relevant Electrical/Mechanical Engineering discipline.
  • Extensive experience with designing vertical transportation systems for a wide range of building typologies and sectors.
  • Knowledge of all applicable VT Codes Standards and Building Codes
  • Ability to manage multiple reviews and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Responsive to changing demands.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish goals.
  • Detail oriented and strong analytical skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of standard engineering practices, techniques, and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills ability to plan and schedule work.
  • Technical capability & delivery.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork.
  • Excellent communication skills for client level presentations.
  • Adaptability & learning.
