We are currently seeking an experienced finance professional to join our Finance Shared Service Center in the capacity of Accountant – I2P Overview of the roleAs an I2P Accountant in Group Finance Shares Service Centre (FSSC), he/she will focus on supporting the day-to-day activities of the I2P function whilst complying with organization's policies and procedures and ensuring necessary checks and balances to mitigate risks.
This position will be responsible for the following:
Petty Cash Verification as per Petty Cash policyPosting of Petty Cash Expenses for all companiesPayment through prepaid card/ChequeExecute payment run and the exceptions are reviewed and highlightedMaintaining card master file and updating as required, Applying and close of Prepaid wire cardReversal of Documents as per request from businessMoving of Traffic fines to recovery account for payroll deductionFollowing up with business for old IOU and Cheque in transit postingHandling Petty cash queriesECD authorization control for petty cashiersCreating and assigning cash journalsCollecting and matching petty cash count on a periodic basisFloat Analysis for maintaining adequate Imprest balancePeer Review of the Petty Cash PaymentsReconciliation of Credit Card StatementsVerifying Credit Card ClaimsPosting Credit Card ClaimsPayment of Credit card Claims (Transfer Letter/HSBC portal)E-wallet Top-up for Branch's and government payments through Credit cardTraining of Petty cashier on cash journal on a continuous basisDown payments creation/Petty Cash advancesEnsure clearing happens for GL account Balance should be ZeroPrincipal payments and Monthly payment cycle What you will doTimely I2P partnering support to Business in day-to-day operationsDaily monitor Cash clearing account and clear and highlight discrepancy to BusinessPerform monthly / periodic reconciliation and substantiation of petty cash related accounts and highlight exceptions and related risks to the BusinessHalf-yearly / Yearly collection of petty cash balance confirmation from petty cashiers and highlight mismatch to Business.
Perform assigned month end book closing tasks within I2PIdentify and support process standardization and improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and quality of reporting for FSSC I2P processesAny other I2P activities assigned from time to timeHandles the queries from Business for advance and forward to concernRequired skills to be successfulSAP knowledge will be preferredAnalytical as well as Process orientedPrior working knowledge in ERP systems (ex:SAP)Knowledge of Excel, Power Point and other Microsoft office toolsDetail-oriented and organizedWhat equips you for the roleFinance Graduate or Semi-qualified or equivalent qualificationsMinimum of 1-3 years similar experience, with a good knowledge of ERP systemsWe're here to provide excellent service but a little help from you can ensure a five-star candidate experience from start to finish
