You will also provide direct support to the Director of Revenue Management.

Assist in the day-to-day tasks of Director of Revenue ManagementSupport Director of Revenue Management in managing demand, forecasting and inventory as it relates to driving revenue opportunity for the hotelAnalyze hotel results and performance (average rates, occupancy rates, RevPAR.).Maximize room revenues through a thorough understanding of all booking channels and managing inventory.

Ensure parity of rates in all booking channels.

Ensure a close and continuous communication with the sales department to action on need periods and to optimize high demand period.

Actively monitors and cascades production of all segments to make sure strategies are implemented.
Attends weekly Revenue Management and Group meetings and cascade minutes to concerned departmentsQualificationsProfileKnowledge and ExperienceUniversity/College degree in a related discipline requiredPrevious Revenue Management experience is an requiredStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Window applications and Opera PMSExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal requiredMust be extremely detailed orientedStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible and reliableAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesCompetenciesGood interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employeesService oriented with an eye for detailsAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamGood presentation and influencing skillsMulticultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures
