We are hiring an Export Sales Executive who will be responsible for export sales in Thomson Food LLC

As an Export Sales Executive in the food industry, your primary responsibility is to facilitate the export of food products to international markets.


Here's a detailed job description:

Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential export markets for the company's food products. Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes to develop effective export strategies.

Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and qualify leads for potential export opportunities. Proactively reach out to distributors, importers, retailers, and other partners in target markets to establish business relationships.

Negotiation and Deal Closure: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with international clients to secure export orders. Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with regulations and mitigate risks.

Export Documentation and Compliance: Coordinate the preparation and processing of export documentation, including invoices, shipping documents, customs declarations, and certificates of origin. Ensure compliance with export regulations, trade agreements, and quality standards.

Logistics and Shipping Coordination: Collaborate with logistics partners and freight forwarders to arrange for the transportation and shipping of food products to international destinations. Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery to meet customer requirements.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers, distributors, and partners. Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Product Promotion and Marketing: Develop marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to increase awareness and demand for the company's food products in target export markets. Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase products and generate leads.

Forecasting and Demand Planning: Work closely with production, supply chain, and demand planning teams to forecast export sales volumes and plan production schedules accordingly. Monitor inventory levels and manage stock allocation to meet export orders.

Market Expansion and Growth: Continuously explore opportunities for market expansion and penetration in new geographies. Identify emerging trends, niche markets, and untapped segments to capitalize on growth opportunities.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track export sales performance against targets and KPIs. Prepare regular reports and presentations for management review, highlighting key metrics, trends, and insights. Use data-driven analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of export strategies and make recommendations for improvement.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments such as marketing, product development, quality assurance, and finance to support export initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
