PositionOverview: The Export Sales Executive plays a crucial rolein expanding the market reach of a FastMoving Consumer Goods (FMCG)company by identifying and capitalizing on international salesopportunities. This position involves developing and executingsales strategies to drive exports managing relationships withoverseas clients and distributors and ensuring timely delivery andcustomer satisfaction. The role requires strong business acumennegotiation skills and a deep understanding of international traderegulations andlogistics.

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. MarketDevelopment:
    • Identify andevaluate potential export markets for FMCG products conductingmarket research and analysis to assess demand competition andregulatory requirements.
    • Developmarket entry strategies and expansion plans for target countries orregions taking into account factors such as consumer preferencesdistribution channels and economictrends.
  2. CustomerAcquisition and RelationshipManagement:
    • Prospect andestablish relationships with overseas customers distributors andimporters leveraging existing networks and conducting outboundsales activities.
    • Negotiate salesagreements contracts and pricing terms with international clientsensuring alignment with company objectives and profitabilitytargets.
    • Provide ongoing support andcommunication to international clients addressing inquiriesresolving issues and maintaining high levels of customersatisfaction.
  3. OrderProcessing andLogistics:
    • Coordinate withinternal departments including logistics shipping and finance tofacilitate the export process from order placement todelivery.
    • Ensure accurate and timelyprocessing of export orders including documentation customsclearance and transportation arrangements in compliance withinternational traderegulations.
    • Monitor shipmentprogress and proactively communicate with customers to provideupdates and address any delays or issues that mayarise.
  4. MarketIntelligence andAnalysis:
    • Stay informedabout global market trends trade policies and regulatory changesthat may impact export sales anddistribution.
    • Analyze salesperformance data market feedback and competitive intelligence toidentify opportunities for growth andoptimization.
    • Generate regularreports and insights to inform decisionmaking and strategicplanning within the export salesdepartment.
  5. CollaborationandCommunication:
    • Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams including marketing product developmentand finance to support export sales initiatives and ensurealignment with overall companyobjectives.
    • Communicate effectivelywith internal stakeholders and external partners to coordinateactivities resolve issues and drive continuous improvement inexport salesprocesses.

QualificationsandSkills:

  • Bachelorsdegree in business administration international trade marketing ora related field; additional certifications or training in exportmanagement are a plus.
  • Provenexperience in export sales or international business developmentpreferably in the FMCGindustry.
  • Strong negotiation skillsand the ability to build and maintain relationships withinternational clients andpartners.
  • Proficiency in exportdocumentation customs procedures and international shippinglogistics.
  • Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in amulticulturalenvironment.
