Technical Planner

  • Closing Date: Jun 10th 2023To ensure that the flydubai fleet is maintained in accordance with the approved maintenance programme as specified by mandatory requirements of the current GCAA regulations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Key Activities_
  • Ensuring that the maintenance planned for the flydubai fleet enables full aircraft availability to support the operational flying programme.
  • 2. Ensuring efficient and cost effective planning of maintenance around flydubai fleet network.
  • 3. Planning of line maintenance checks, acceptable deferred defects, cabin deferred defects, base maintenance and lease return checks.
  • 4. Reviewing of forthcoming maintenance across the fleet ensuring flydubai remains in regulatory compliance at all times.
  • 5. Compiling, auditing and issuing of maintenance work packages and supporting data ensuring the standards, accuracy and quality of planned maintenance on the operated fleet.
  • 6. Planning Aircraft & Component modification on the fleet.
  • 7. Aircraft maintenance check slot planning liaising with Commercial, Operations, Line stations and subcontracted maintenance providers to agree suitable downtime, resource and facilities.
  • 8. Interfacing with Commercial, Operations, third parties, line stations and MROs as required to achieve the maintenance plan.
  • 9. Ensuring receipt and update of aircraft maintenance records and the engineering computer system.
  • 10. Providing out of hours planning support when requested ensuring the safe, punctual, efficient and cost effective operation of the fleet
  • 11. Management reporting on scheduled maintenance activity.
  • 12. Maintain a handover log in AMOS.
  • 13. Answer Technical Assistance Queries in AMOS.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

  • Minimum Qualification_
  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Secondary School Education GCSE (Engineering degree preferred (EASA B2 or B1 as alternative))
  • Experience_
  • Minimum 5 years previous experience in similar role desirable
  • Line and base maintenance planning and airline operations
  • Knowledge / Skills_
  • Current aircraft maintenance planning systems and techniques.
  • The use of IT systems including Microsoft Suite and airline/MRO Systems.
  • Safety/Airworthiness Awareness and GCAA regulations
