̈ Products and services are explained to the customer at all appropriate times

̈ Prompt responses are given to the service needs of customers

̈ Service reliability is improved through obtaining customer feedback and working with colleagues

̈ A positive personal image is presented to the customer at all times

̈ The needs of the customer are kept in balance with those of the organisation

̈ Feelings expressed by the customer are responded to appropriately

̈ Methods of communication are adapted to meet the needs of the customer

̈ All visitors are greeted and offered assistance in an appropriate manner

̈ Service is maintained when systems go wrong

̈ Floors, carpets, tiles and corridors are cleaned to the required standard

̈ Surfaces, furniture, fixtures and fittings are cleaned to the required standard

̈ Toilets and bathrooms areas are cleaned to the required standard

̈ Customer supplies and accessories are replenished as required

̈ Waste and rubbish are prepared and disposed of appropriately

̈ Beds are stripped and made to the required standard

̈ Floor coverings and other items are deep cleaned as per instructions

̈ Customers personal property is dealt with in line with organizational procedures

̈ Maintenance requirements are reported to the appropriate people

̈ The required number of rooms are serviced efficiently

̈ Linen is received, checked and discrepancies identified and reported

̈ The correct type and quantity of linen, bed coverings and housekeeping supplies are issued to appropriate people

̈ Clean linen, housekeeping supplies and bed coverings are collected and transported as per requirements for the day

̈ Trolleys are maintained in an organized and efficient manner

̈ Sub-standard linen is identified and returned to the laundry room as per hotel standards

̈ Soiled linen is returned to the laundry room

̈ Soiled linen is counted, sorted and bagged up in time for collection

̈ Linen received, issued and returned is documented accurately

̈ Equipment is supplied to guest bedrooms in a timely fashion in accordance with office instructions

̈ Effective working relationships are created and maintained with colleagues and managers

̈ New colleagues are assisted in becoming familiar with the workplace

̈ Colleagues are supported in the performance of their work

̈ Self development needs are identified and agreed within a Personal Development Plan arising from a 6-monthly appraisal

̈ Personal Development Plans are reviewed through regular Job Chats and future appraisals

̈ Commitment is displayed to training through attendance as required

̈ An up to date Personal Log Book is maintained to record all training given

Requirements:

  • Diploma/high school certificate
2. 3+ Years of experience in similar role with a hotel or holiday homes

  • Good English communication skills
  • Age must be below 40 years
