The Role

We are currently looking for a full-time junior IT Assistant to join our establishment with the following criteria: Roles and Responsibilities: - Provide IT assistance to staff with computer hardware, software and network issues, while monitoring and supporting the execution and successful completion of jobs.

- Set up and configure desktops, laptop computers, peripherals and accounts' security. - Setup computer software as well as upgrading hardware and systems.

- Troubleshoot, diagnose problems and implement corrective action procedures within prescribed guidelines and/or escalate to other technical resources as appropriate.

- Contribute to unit goals by accomplishing related duties as required. - Documenting processes and track of technological advancements. - Ability to commute between sites.

Requirements:

Requirements and skills:

  • Proven experience as IT Assistant or relevant position
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication ability
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
  • Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
