As a Financial Officer at Reges Events, you will play a critical role in managing the financial aspects of events, ensuring fiscal responsibility, accuracy, and compliance.

Your responsibilities will encompass budgeting, financial analysis, vendor payments, record-keeping, and financial reporting.

Your attention to detail, financial acumen, and adherence to best practices will contribute to the financial success of our events.


Responsibilities:

Budget Development and Management:

  • Collaborate with the Event and Venue Coordinator to create event budgets, taking into account all related expenses and revenue projections.
  • Monitor and manage event expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Provide financial guidance to event teams on costsaving opportunities.

Financial Records and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
  • Ensure all financial transactions related to events are properly documented and organized.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare financial reports for events, including profit and loss statements, budget vs. actual analysis, and financial forecasts.
  • Communicate financial performance to event stakeholders and management.

Vendor Payments and Invoices:

  • Review and process vendor invoices and payments in a timely manner.
  • Verify the accuracy and validity of invoices before approval.
  • Negotiate favorable payment terms with vendors when possible.

Cost-Benefit Analysis:

  • Conduct costbenefit analysis for eventrelated expenses and investments.
  • Identify areas for potential cost reduction or efficiency improvement.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor cash flow related to events to ensure adequate funds are available for expenses.
  • Initiate fund transfers and payments as needed to meet financial obligations.

Financial Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal financial policies.
  • Collaborate with accounting and legal teams to address compliance issues.

Financial Forecasting:

  • Develop financial forecasts for events based on historical data and market trends.
  • Assist in financial planning and resource allocation for future events.

Financial Audits:

  • Prepare financial documentation and reports for internal and external audits as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in financial management or accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and budgeting skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Knowledge of event cost structures and financial best practices.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel or financial management systems.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to present financial data to nonfinancial stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the event industry or related industries is advantageous.
  • Understanding of local financial regulations and tax codes in Dubai.

Salary:
AED3, AED6,000.00 per month
