Commercial Videographer/Video Editor
This is a unique position that combines the skills of both a videographer and a video editor. You'll be responsible for the entire video production process, from filming to final cut.

Responsibilities:

Pre-Production:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and goals for the commercial.
  • Develop creative concepts and storyboards for the video.
  • Scout locations and secure filming permits (if necessary).
  • Plan filming schedules and logistics.

Production:

  • Film highquality video footage using professional cameras and equipment.
  • Capture compelling visuals and audio that tell the client's story.
  • Conduct interviews and direct oncamera talent (if required).

Post-Production:

  • Edit raw footage into a polished and engaging commercial.
  • Add music, sound effects, and motion graphics.
  • Incorporate client feedback and make revisions.
  • Export the final video in various formats for different platforms.

Skills:

  • Strong videography skills, including camera operation, lighting, and sound recording.
  • Expert video editing software proficiency (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
  • Creativity and an eye for detail.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and team members.

Additional Requirements (may vary):

  • A portfolio of videography and editing work.
  • Experience working with a DSLR or mirrorless camera.
  • Knowledge of color grading and motion graphics (a plus).
