Key Result Areas:

  • Develop and execute sales strategy for ticketing services and create added value packages to be included part of the ticket offering.
  • Supervise and manage the operation of ticketing services on daily basis and oversee the financial transaction.
  • Coordinates advance ticket and gate sales for activities and events, consulting with marketing on promotional activities.
  • Reconciles ticket sales with cash deposits and prepares reports or financial settlements regarding ticket office activities and events.

  • Projects ticket office annual budget and monitors throughout the year, basing some decisions on budget limitations.

  • Follow & implement the companies Policies & Procedures
  • Continually seek opportunities to develop self and if applicable subordinates.
  • Implement duties in line with the Quality standards, Security and Health & Safety
  • Implement any other duties as assigned by the Department Head.
  • As duties change, it will be reflected in the job description after discussions are held with the post holder in the yearly performance evaluations.
  • Analyzes and plans for event needs for ticketing staff, equipment, supplies and services and takes appropriate action based on budget limitations.
  • Coordinates with outside agencies regarding ticket sales for nonUniversity events.
  • Designs and orders blank ticket stock, reprinted ticket stock, ticket envelopes, and/or brochures for activities and events, consulting with marketing/promotions staff.
  • Answers inquiries and communicates information regarding upcoming events or new developments within the department to the press which requires independent judgment and discretion.
  • Plans and implements new ticketing procedures and/or revisions to ticketing computer system.
  • Compiles reports or financial statements regarding ticket office activities and events.
  • Ensures reliability and accuracy of ticketing data base.
Encouraging repeat business and up-selling.
