Legal Research and Case Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and detailed analysis on a variety of legal issues related to ongoing or potential litigation. Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and precedents, and present thorough summaries and recommendations to senior legal counsel.
  • Document Management:
  • Assist in the organization, review, and analysis of litigation documents, including legal documents, evidence, and discovery materials. Ensure precise and effective document retention and retrieval.
  • Legal Writing:
  • Create, review, and revise various legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, and correspondence. Work closely with senior legal counsel to ensure precise and compelling legal arguments.
  • Case Preparation and Strategy:
  • Help develop strategies and action plans for litigation cases. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and expert witnesses to gather essential information and evidence to support the organization's stance.
  • Prepare materials for hearings, exhibit lists, and trial binders. Take detailed notes and aid in managing trial logistics.
  • Legal Risk Assessment:
  • Examine potential legal risks linked to ongoing or potential litigation cases. Offer suggestions and cooperate with senior legal counsel to formulate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Settlement Negotiations:
  • Support in negotiations for settlements, which include researching settlement alternatives, drafting settlement offers, and engaging in discussions on settlements.
  • Work alongside senior legal counsel to assess settlement proposals and provide suggestions.
  • Legal Team Collaboration:
  • Team up with fellow legal team members and relevant parties to contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives and goals.
  • Help develop and implement best practices and enhancements in the litigation domain.
  • Communicate with clients, collect essential documents, and data to commence case building.
  • Handle all administrative duties within the legal office.
  • Prepare initial drafts of legal documents.
  • Organize all legal documents in a confidential manner.
