Job description

The design coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the design process for various projects.

Their primary role is to ensure that designs are created and executed effectively, meeting the requirements and expectations of clients or employers.

Key role and responsibilities

Coordination:
Collaborating with different departments and teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines. This includes communicating with architects, engineers, interior designers, and other stakeholders involved in the design process.

Design planning:
Assisting in the development and implementation of design strategies and concepts. This involves creating design schedules, outlining milestones, and setting deadlines to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Project management:
Managing the design process from conception to completion, ensuring all projects are completed within budget and deadlines. This includes monitoring progress, resolving any design-related issues, and coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and vendors.

Review and approval:
Reviewing design proposals, concept drawings, and blueprints to ensure they align with client requirements and design standards. Coordinating with clients or project managers to make necessary modifications or gain approvals.

Quality control:
Ensuring the quality and accuracy of design work produced by internal designers or external contractors. This involves conducting design reviews, providing feedback and guidance, and enforcing design standards and guidelines.

Whats needed to be successful in this role

  • Knowledge of design softwares such as 3Ds max, inventor fusion, autocad
  • Previous experience in a design company
  • Good communication skills
  • Good management skills
  • Previous experience in school,nursery or kids playroom design (Bonus)

applicant need to be based or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi

Salary:
From AED5,000.00 per month
