AECO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Design Project Manager to lead our medium-sized landscape design projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating multiple projects, structuring teams, and preparing deployment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Manage and coordinate multiple medium-sized landscape design projects independently with minimal oversight.
  2. Team Leadership: Structure teams for these projects with a clear understanding of the project's roles and responsibilities.
  3. Deployment Planning: Prepare deployment plans based on the fee provided for review with the senior team.
  4. Technical Leadership: Operate as a technical lead for medium-scale landscape projects with a strong capability to coordinate multiple disciplines and communicate project requirements.
  5. Client Interface: Lead client interface/meetings and manage project's contractual requirements.
  6. Project Coordination: Oversee and coordinate project deliverables with client, consultants/subs, and other teams.
  7. Solution Development: Provide clear solutions for delivery.
  8. Design Review: Plan and conduct design and creative review sessions for ongoing projects and competitions.
  9. Design Standards: Aware of all public realm design standards and apply them across landscape projects.
  10. Studio Design Ethos: Contribute to the studio design ethos discussions and design drivers.
  11. Budget Management: Bridge between delivering design ideas and delivering to budget.
  12. Client Objectives: Understand client objectives and steer design thinking accordingly.
  13. Technical Packages: Leading and delivering entire technical packages independently with review from senior staff.
  14. Planting and Irrigation: Full understanding of the planting and irrigation requirements/standards and guidelines per region.
  15. Design Delivery: Lead and deliver designs independently with review from senior staff.
  16. Innovation and Improvement: Actively engage in promoting innovative design solutions and influences peers and reports.
  17. Design Ideas: Identify new potential areas of innovation and improvements in design ideas and presentations that the landscape team can benefit from.
  18. Design Graphics: Promote innovation and change in the landscape design graphics across projects and documents the same for wider team use.
  19. Digital Tools: Promote the use of new innovative digital tools in landscape design projects and engage in internal research and development.
  20. Market Knowledge: Fair knowledge of the market and helps in reviewing landscape cost plans on projects.
