Role Description
The Business Analyst - Compliance, AML, and Fraud will play a critical role in analyzing data to measure the impact of our fraud, AML, and compliance operations on revenues and the customer journey. This position will identify optimization opportunities, uncover gaps in our AML and responsible gaming (RG) algorithms, and analyze data around fraud controls to provide insights for refining our methods of operation. The analyst will also generate monthly reports for senior managers, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyse data to measure the impact of fraud, AML, and compliance operations on company performance, compliance and the customer journey.
- Conduct thorough assessments of AML and RG algorithms to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fraud controls, providing insights for refining operational methods.
- Identify opportunities to optimize compliance, AML, and fraud prevention processes.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of current practices.
- Collaborate with various departments to implement suggested optimizations.
- Prepare and deliver monthly operational (MO) reports to senior managers, highlighting KPIs and key findings.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings.
- Ensure that reports and documentation are clear, concise, and actionable.
- Work closely with compliance, AML, fraud prevention, and other relevant teams to gather data and insights.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of new strategies and initiatives based on data-driven insights.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in compliance, AML, and fraud prevention.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance data analysis methodologies and reporting processes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the compliance and AML team.
Skills Required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably within the iGaming, financial services, or compliance sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- A master's degree is a plus.
