About the role:


This role is supporting the delivery of the 3 year Infrastructure and cyber security program, providing the hands-on technical skills for deployment and configuration of security tools.

They will be a collaborative and proactive team member, excited and interested in learning new technology and processes, and able to work closely with other technical team members to develop solutions.

They will work closely with the Program Manager and other technical experts.


You are someone who values great Project Management principles and practices, has a real passion for quality, clean code, and continuous improvement.

You enjoy contributing to architectural discussions, and very importantly has demonstrable ability to motivate yourself and others, collaborate with your teammates and has a passion to mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects with topdown oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and coordinate key managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
  • Liaise with the Programme Director, to ensure all reports follow the establishing format and that timeframes, costs and risks are all captured.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to maintain momentum, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Analyse burndown/cost of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost benefit and Time savings back to the customer
  • Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
  • Oversee acquisition of resources and materials as needed before and during projects by talking with customers, team members, managers, and inhouse accountants and negotiating price and payment agreements with vendors.
  • Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.
  • Participate with Teams and Vendors during technical debates and discovery.

Essential requirements:


At least 5 years tech delivery experience, ideally in professional services consulting in the
Cloud,
DevOps or Cyber
Security deployments space or have experience with large enterprise software implementations/development client side on top of a business development background.

This role would be ideal for a tech and business savvy Project Managers who is hungry to learn and has an appetite for growth and success.


  • 10+ years working within enterprise infrastructure environments and roles
  • Project Management Qualifications/ Certification and significant delivery experience covering both Agile and traditional project delivery.
  • Advanced knowledge in O365,Cisco and Azure AD cloud.
  • 7+ years' experience in the role of a Project Manager.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading project teams.
  • Adaptable and flexible by nature; enjoys being hands on technical.
  • Solid experience in the infrastructure sector.
  • Experience with common system tools such as Active Directory,Azure Active Director,Group Policy,Exchange
  • Knowledge of security best practices for infrastructure and cloud services covering M365 E5 license suit.
  • Experience in enterprise and complex environments.
