  • Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior managers
  • Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders
  • Plan, edit, and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, monthly magazine, or regular email bulletin. You may also be required to work on the layout of content
  • Keep clients abreast of progress and answer their questions
  • Manage and support other members of the internal communications team
  • Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form
  • Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages
  • Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational perception and reputation

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an internal communication and/or employee engagement role
  • Possesses outstanding oral and written communications skills including superior writing, grammar, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically and develop solutions that meet the business needs of the firm
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently deliver high-quality results on time and on budget
  • Highly motivated, persuasive, priority-driven, and collaborative
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in small and large groups
  • Consistently demonstrates strong business acumen and judgment
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
