  • Greet and welcome guests, providing a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Manage reservations, updating availability and making necessary adjustments.
  • Handle inquiries and phone calls and delivery orders, providing accurate information about the restaurant product and services.
  • Seat guests appropriately, considering their preferences and special requests.
  • Manage waitlists and inform guests about estimated wait times and alternatives.
  • Monitor the dining area, coordinating with staff to maintain smooth guest flow.
  • Handle payment transactions, including cash, credit cards, and splitting bills.
  • Book Keeping of the daily invoices, including petty cash and purchases.
  • Provide general assistance, such as arranging special occasions and resolving concerns.
  • Work closely with the frontofhouse staff, including floor staff and management, to uphold high customer service standards while maintaining good coordination with the kitchen staff.
  • Should have basic knowledge of computer.
  • Should know how to use a POS system.
