The job purpose of Lead Developer is to lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to meet the organization's business needs. You will play a pivotal role in driving the technical direction of projects, ensuring high-quality code & application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality. keeping up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding mobile apps and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver successful solutions.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage long-term strategic plans in Digital Cluster based on market demand or economic trends.
  • Identify new business opportunities and formulate growth strategies to develop new products or services that meet marketplace needs.
  • Define, launch, and drive strategic and operational initiatives in Digital Cluster.
  • Analyze and recommend emerging industry trends, expansion opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, competitive threats, viability of outside business partners, venture capital sources, internal business performance and business process improvement.
  • Provide leadership input regarding changes in company culture, policies, procedures, and resources.
  • Assess and mitigate risks and enforce proper resolution to issues in a timely and mutually agreeable manner.
  • Build strong relationships with external vendors and consulting firms to implement strategic initiatives and benchmark market best practices.
  • Oversee data analysis and make recommendations for improvements to existing products or services.
  • Identify and pursue new markets for existing products or developing new products or services.
  • Recommend changes to business strategies based on current market conditions or customer preferences.

People Management Responsibilites:

  • Work with other teams to ensure positive health and retention of partnerships.
  • Hire, develop, train and monitor the appropriate team member's performance & goals.
  • Track and report weekly partnership development metrics to the staff.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices.

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Lead the research, analysis and data interpretation to identify industry and market trends to inform decision making.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of the projects.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for higher management reflecting projects progress and performance as well as adjusting plans as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement new initiatives.

Develop and implement strategies for increasing brand awareness and increasing market share within target markets.

Qualifications

Educational and Technical Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Strategy or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
Language Skills:
  • Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage
Years of Experience:
  • Aminimum of15 years ofexperience in a similar role
Nature of Experience:
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects from start to finish
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to details
