As a Marketing Manager, the position entails managing a wide range of Marketing & PR processes and projects.

The Marketing Manager interacts with sales, product development, and customer service departments to ensure that the collateral and other communications channels including PR reflect brand of the company accurately.

The Marketing Manager also performs a range of administrative and marketing support duties related to the daily operations of the Marketing department.


What will I be doing?
As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Support the development and implementation of hotel marketing and PR campaigns and promotional activities as well as internal and external communication requirements set out by the Commercial Director
  • Support the Commerical Director with generating revenue for the hotel across all departments in line with annual marketing and PR strategies and agreed budgets. This should include an analysis of key source markets and acting as the liaison with any source market PR agencies
  • Execute research to obtain market and competitive insights to support and create marketing and PR opportunities and positive media coverage
  • Make the owners' newsletter (quarterly) as well as internal communications materials

What are we looking for?

Marketing:

  • Coordinating various integrated communication and marketing activities
  • Interfacing with counterparts and building up relationships with them at marketing suppliers
  • Coordinating in production of a wide range of marketing communications
  • Developing and maintaining sales proposals and collateral, desktop publishing, rate cards, newsletters, brochures, and many other materials related to sales and marketing
  • Supervising the production or implementation of marketing materials
  • Tracking campaigns, preparing performance analysis reports of post campaign and making recommendations to concurrent programs for corrective modifications
  • Maintaining communication open lines with all organizations and providing prompt answers to requests in order to determine how to convey concise, clear, and timely selective information
  • Developing standardize presentations, sales scripts, proposals
  • Writing and maintaining content and providing monthly updates to company websites and all social media channels
  • Assist with all online related Marketing and digital tasks to promote the hotel and its services
  • Implementing project management system for documenting and tracking activities
  • Monitoring online blogs for tracking communications related to the hotel and brand of a company
  • Executing and analysing results of advertisement and marketing campaign

Public Relations:

  • To be responsible for visiting media as well as contractors and ensure their visits run according to agreed schedules, mainly for all Arabic media
  • To handle public relations activities such as filming and photo shootings, writing of photo captions, editorials and fact files
  • To organize and conduct photo and film shoots
  • To collate, write, edit and proofread written communications and press materials to meet established standards of content, style and appearance. Materials include, but are not limited to, press releases, editorials, photo captions and fact files
  • To assess the suitability of texts and proposed external communications for its intended readership
  • To be fully informed of the hotel product, its service and facilities and competent in conducting a full site inspection of the property
  • To be fully aware of all company collateral and other information relevant to the company and Dubai
  • To attend and supervise all media visits, photoshoots and filming as directed by the Commercial department
  • To conduct all visits and filming in accordance with company guidelines
  • To be fully familiar with upcoming media visits and to be involved in the preparation of visits to ensure they run smoothly
  • To ensure a post visit report is completed in the Department Media Database
  • To action or pass on further information requested, post visits
  • To attend and support social events as and when required
  • To update and maintain the Department Media database
  • To assist in the preparation of monthly clipping and departmental reports

Social Media:

  • Develops, controls and reviews all day to day activities of all social media channels for the hotel
  • Sets up, manages, coordinates and tracks all paid social media marketing campaigns
  • Ensures that all social media campaigns are in line with the hotel's activity and promotional plan
  • Executing strategies to promote the hotel and its revenue centres on all social media channels
  • Produce and distribute monthly analytics reports and share key drivers of positive and negative trends, track progress on KPI's
