We are urgently looking for a Procurement Manager (Civil).The candidate must have minimum 15 years of experience in the Construction industry with Mega Projects in reputed companies in UAE/GCC.The Procurement Manager will be handling all procurement of construction items and package (but not limited to) Structural and Finishing materials such as steel, sand, and aggregates, timber, cement; joinery work; aluminum and glazing; etc.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure the smooth flow of the procurement department.
Ensure that the INQUIRY and COMPARISION SHEETS are in accordance with CONTRACT documents and Project SPECIFICATIONResponsible for purchase orders/subcontract Agreement and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure timely action on requisitions and purchases.Handle subcontract agreements and correspondence.
Ensure contractual submissions are made in order to meet the work schedule objectivesSupplier performance monitor.
Soliciting quotations. Carry out initial negotiation. Preparation of bid summary.
Co-ordination between suppliers and sites as necessary.
QualificationsMust be a graduate in Civil Engineering from a reputed university.
Experience in High-rise building projects is mandatory.
Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction industry with Mega Projects in UAE/GCC.
