Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Manager Projects (Fixed Term) at Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

Project Delivery:

· Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

· Lead the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing of the project

· Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

· Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs

· Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques and develop a detailed project plan to track progress

· Prioritize and delegate project tasks, providing timely direction and support to project team on a day-to-day basis

· Challenges performance gaps of project team members and provides coaching/mentoring support

· Facilitate meetings and design workshops, testing activities, and post go live support keeping a keen eye on quality

· Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project staff to outline work plan

· Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

· Perform risk management to minimize project risks and proactively manage said risks, including the identification of mitigation strategies. Report and escalate to management as needed

· Performs project reporting & communications (Including weekly status updates and/or Exec Steering Committee meetings)

· Manages the triple constraint (time vs. scope vs. cost)

· Plan, schedule, and manage project timelines, dependencies, and milestones using a project plan

· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including project budgets

· Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget and ensure resource availability and allocation

Governance & Oversight:

· Provide governance, an accountability framework and oversight for all projects with significant IT involvement, assuring the project sponsors are held accountable for project success.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment to the organization's strategic goals and objectives.

· Assure consistency in practice and reporting, and further assure transparency to all stakeholders.

· Set and enforce project standards and assure that core project elements such as organizational change management, training, support, and quality management are considered.

· Continuously evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines

· Manages and controls the actual cost verses budget on periodic basis and provides financial reports/data related to the department/ divisional/ project's financial performance.

Transformation Programs (CRM/Website and Ticketing):

· Planning and executing the CRM/Website and Ticketing projects according to the agreed upon scope, timeline, and budget. This may include working with stakeholders to gather requirements, creating project plans, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

· Managing the CRM/Website and Ticketing project teams and ensuring that team members have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks. This may include assigning tasks, providing training, and resolving any issues that arise.

· Communicating with stakeholders and team members to keep them informed of project progress, risks, and any issues that may arise.

· Managing vendor relationships and ensuring that the CRM/Website and Ticketing systems are properly integrated with other and their applicable processes within the organization.

· Ensuring that the CRM/Website and Ticketing systems are aligned with the overall business strategy and objectives of the organization.

· Measuring the effectiveness of the CRM/Website and Ticketing systems and providing regular reports to stakeholders on the performance and impact of the system on the business.

About you:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• Bachelor's degree; PMP preferred; recent technology certifications.
• 7+ years of progressive technical and relevant leadership practice
• Experience as Project Manager / Program Manager or equivalent position in a global environment.
• Experience working with specialty technical and functional support systems, frameworks, and functionality.
• Experience in project management, from conception to delivery (5+ years in similar role)
• An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
• Good knowledge of SharePoint (creating lists, forms etc.), MS Projects, Office 365
• Certification on PMP, Prince will be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Excel, PPT, SharePoint
