Customer Service:

Position: Head Barista

Location: Dubai Sports City

Reports To: F&B Head

Job Summary: The Head Barista oversees the daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring high-quality service and beverage preparation. This role involves training and managing barista staff, maintaining inventory and fostering a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer inquiries or complaints.
  • Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Beverage Preparation:

  • Expertly prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages according to company standards.
  • Create and innovate new beverage recipes and seasonal offerings.

Staff Management:

  • Train, supervise, and schedule barista staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Foster a team-oriented work environment.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.

Quality Control:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the coffee shop.
  • Ensure all beverages meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Assist in managing the coffee shop's budget.
  • Monitor sales and suggest strategies to increase revenue.

Operations:

  • Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the coffee shop.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Barista, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee and tea varieties, brewing methods, and equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Basic math and budgeting skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 30 lbs).
  • Fast-paced coffee shop setting.
  • Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
