Responsibilities:

  • An exceptional Chef with solid professional experience in a similar position in Luxury, Fine Dining and/or Michelin gastronomy with strong knowledge of French and American Brasserie Cuisine
  • Comfortable in engaging and interacting with the guests
  • Enthusiastic, passionate with great interpersonal skills and team working values
  • Excellent skills in leadership, time management and organization
  • Creativity your culinary handwriting is reflected in cooperation with our Executive Chef
  • Plan in conjunction with the Executive Chef & Executive Sous Chef activities, promotions, menu implementations according to the annual marketing plans
  • Designing, developing menus and food concepts with the Executive Chef & Executive Sous Chef bringing your touch of creativity
  • Ensure that all designated action points from daily briefings are being followed by the individuals concerned
  • Ensure that positive working relations with nonFood and Beverage departments are fostered always giving cooperation
  • Be aware of and comply with all legislation affecting the operation, including licensing regulations, health regulations and fire and safety regulations
  • Propose and initiate when approved from chef office, new services and products for our guests
  • Create and develop new dishes and recipes by keeping up with the latest market trends, alongside being constantly aware of customer's expectations and ever changing needs
  • Be responsible and accountable for the overall food cost as well as kitchen supplies, kitchen energy costs and kitchen utensils in the assigned section
  • Find ways to improve the efficiency of the operations which will benefit our FANS
  • Ensuring highend service while maintaining the quality standards and smooth workflow through daily communication and coordination with other departments
  • Compliance and daily control of hygiene regulations and cleanliness within the framework of the HACCP guidelines
  • Supports the team with trainings and regular feedbacks in order to improve the employee performance and compliance with the brand standards and local, regional and national legal safety regulations.

Key competencies and background:

  • Experience: ten years of experience on kitchen field in hotel industries. Must have International kitchen experience
  • Education: postgraduate and / or Hotel Management School / Apprenticeship. Master's degree preferred but not required
  • General Skills: full knowledge of the entire kitchen operation. Must have full knowledge of sanitation requirements in food handling, High level of creativity and quality standards. Must possess strong leadership quality, training techniques, proper communication and organizational skills.
  • Technical Skills: knows and understands the job description of all positions in his department, knows and understands policies relating to his department, checks and improves all service standards established by the company, supervises staff activities to maximize revenue and minimize costs, provides assistance to the staff when required during peak periods, conserves energy and water at all times, responsible for proper receiving procedures, responsible for proper storage of processed food products and raw materials
  • Language: required to have good English when it comes into understanding, speaking, and writing.
  • Physical requirements: must be able to exert physical effort in transporting, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and colleagues to their understanding.
