About the Role:

Gems Wellington Academy-Al Khail is currently looking to recruit a
Performing Arts Teacher for April 2024. The school has a thriving Music and Performing Arts community and boasts wonderful facilities.

These include 5 academic music teaching rooms, 10 practice rooms, music mac lab, recording studio, black box, dance studio, auditorium and amphitheatre.

The music and performing arts department are inclusive and progressive in its vision to create a happy school community, in line with the sustainable development goals.

There is an extensive programme of Performing Arts enrichment activities, including choral and instrumental activities, musicals, showcases and competitions.

The
Performing Arts teacher will also be involved in expanding our curriculum and extra-curricular activities as part of our Partnership with the Urdang School of Performing Arts.

It is essential that the appointee maintains a collaborative approach to supporting other Performing Arts colleagues and contributing to the team as a whole.

Being in Dubai, we are situated in the entertainment hub of the Middle East. This allows for many trips and exciting collaborations to happen within The Music Department.

This role would be enjoyed by a teacher at any stage in their career, with a willingness to teach across The Performing Arts.
